Set up Your Program as an Upward Program

It is extremely IMPORTANT to set up your Programs as Upward Programs to ensure that your information will import properly into ULM!

How to Make Your Program an Upward Program

  1. Go to Admin>>Programs>>Edit Programs
  2. Click Add New Program
  3. Choose Camp as Program Type
  4. Give the Program a Name (i.e. 2011 Upward Basketball)
  5. Make sure the check box is checked for Is Upward Program?
  6. Click Create

Customize your Registration Questions for Upward ULM Export

IMPORTANT- There is an Upward Info section that is down at the bottom of the page that contains all of the ULM related fields that you need to use ensure that your information will export properly. None of the defaulted fields outside the Upward Information section can be used in your ULM Export Report. With that in mind, we recommend un-checking any fields that have a display checkmark showing in the Additional, Medical, and Other sections and only working within the Upward Information section.

  1. Scroll down to the Upward Info section and Display or Require the fields that you wish to collect during registration.  ALL of these fields in this section will export into your ULM!!
  2. At the bottom of the Upward Information section, you can create user defined files (UDFs) that can be answered by your participants. The responses to these UDF’s (up to 3 questions) will be imported along with the player’s information into the Upward League Manager. **Note- Only the answers to the UDF questions will be imported into ULM.**
  3. In the Volunteer Information select any Volunteer Roles that you want associated with this Program.  Any Volunteer Role with the word “Coach” in it will be included in the Coaches ULM export.
  4. Click Update at the bottom of the screen
