Create and Edit Teams



Team Builder

The team builder is used to allocate registered players to different teams. While it is an optional feature for Non-Tryout Programs, it is a necessary and integral part of the Tryout Program. For Tryout Programs it will automatically send an email (if selected) to ALL players with an appropriate email, either acceptance or rejection. Under each division you can create an unlimited number of teams.

Steps to Create Teams:

  1. Go to Admin >> Teams >> Team Listing
  2. Click on "Add Team"
  3. Select the Program
  4. Select the Division
  5. Name the Team
  6. Click "Create Team"
  7. If you have volunteers, highlight the volunteer you wish to add to the team and click "Add"
  8. Repeat for all volunteer roles necessary for team
  9. To add more player information to be displayed to aid in the building of teams,use drop down menu to select a field you wish to add and click "Add" (i.e. Date ofBirth)
  10. Highlight the player you wish to add to team and click the "Add" button below
    **To remove a player, Highlight them from the Allocated box and click"Remove." You will not be able to remove a player from a team in a tryout program once that player has accepted the position on that team.**
  11. Continue until all players have been added to this team
  12. Click "Update"
    **You can select multiple players or volunteers to allocate at once by holding down“ctrl” and clicking on their names.**

Steps to edit a team:

  1. Go to Admin >> Teams >> Team Listing
  2. Select the Program for the team you wish to edit
  3. Select the Division for the team you wish to edit
  4. Click the pencil next to the team you wish to edit
  5. Make any necessary adjustments (i.e. add players, remove players, change teamname)
  6. Click "Update"
