Clone Program Answers
1. What is the Clone Programs feature?
The Clone Programs feature allows you to select a program from your site and copy that program (and corresponding divisions) so that you do not have to create a new program and divisions from scratch each season.
2. What will happen if I clone a program?
Once you select the option to clone a program, you will be taken to a program set up screen. The program name will display as “Clone of” and you will be able to go through and adjust the name to remove the Clone of wording and you can go through and make any other changes as needed. The divisions will also contain “Clone of,” so you will need to go to your division listing screen and remove that wording from each of the divisions. All dates in your divisions will be advanced by one year, so be sure to double check to make sure the new dates correspond with your season.
3. I have custom questions set up – will they also be added in the new program?
Yes – any custom questions that you have created will be added to your cloned program. If you have custom fees and discounts set up, those will carry over as well. (Note: Early Bird and Late Fee Discounts will not carry over so be sure to add these to your new divisions if you like)
