Cloning a Program will create a copy of the original Program, and will clone all of the related divisions adding one year to all of the dates (registration open/close, min/max age). This feature is especially useful for setting up registration from one season to another.
Steps to Clone a Program
- Go to Admin>>Programs>>Clone Programs.
- Click the clone icon and the Program and all related Divisions will be cloned. **Note you only need to click the icon once to copy the program.
- You will be automatically taken to the Edit Program Screen. You will have to change the Program Name (i.e. Change Clone of 2007 Fall Soccer to 2008 Fall Soccer)
- You can make any changes to the Program Set-Up. Please be mindful of any dates in the Confirmation Email, Medical Release or Custom Questions as these will need to be edited.
- Click on Update to save your changes
- Go to Admin>>Divisions>>Edit Divisions. Select your recently created program.
- For the cloned division, the Division Start/End Dates, Registration Open/Close Dates and the Date of Birth Range all move up one year. You will need to change the Division Names (i.e. Change Clone of U10 Boys to U10 Boys). You can also make any changes to the division set up that you deem necessary (dates, pricing, etc).
- Click on Update to save your changes.
- When a Club Admin clones a Program, any related Payment Plan will also be cloned. The dates associated with cloned payment plans will have a year added to them as well. All installment amounts and installments fees will remain the same.
For Example: Payment Plan "A" has installments due on: 06/01/2011, 07/01/2011, 08/01/2011, 09/01/2011. When the Program is cloned, the newly cloned payment plan will have installment due dates of: 06/01/2012, 07/01/2012, 08/01/2012, 09/01/2012.
