Division Level Fees and Discounts

Division level discounts are configured from Admin>>Divisions>>Edit Divisions and are specific to each individual division.

Early Bird Discount

This discount is deducted from the order item total i.e. the price of the division, if a player is registered prior to the Early Bird Deadline. This discount is calculated automatically on the checkout screen.

Steps to configure Early Bird Discounts:

  1. Go to Admin>>Divisions>>Edit Divisions
  2. Click on the pencil next to the Division you want to edit 
  3. Go to the Fees & Discounts section 
  4. Enter a date for the Early Bird Deadline 
  5. Enter an amount for the early bird discount 
  6. Click Update 
  7. Make sure that the Early Bird Discount is checked in Admin>>Site Settings- Discounts section 

Late Fee

This fee is added to the order item total i.e. the price of the division, if a player is registered after the Late Fee Deadline. This discount is calculated automatically on the checkout screen.

Steps to configure Late Fees

  1. Go to Admin>>Divisions>>Edit Divisions
  2. Click on the pencil next to the Division you want to edit
  3. Go to the Fees & Discounts section
  4. Enter a date for the Late Fee Deadline
  5. Enter an amount for the Late Fee
  6. Click Update
  7. Make sure that the Late Fee is checked in Admin>>Site Settings- Discounts section

Custom Division Fees and Discount

This allows you to create a custom fee/discount based on a yes or no question. This allows you to create a custom fee/discount based on a yes or no question. For Custom Division Fees or Discounts you can configure whether the fee or discount is applied on either a Yes or No answer. (In the past, a no answer to a custom fee question triggered a fee to an order and a yes answer to a custom discount question triggered a discount to an order.) The amount will be applied to the division price only on the checkout screen.

Steps to configure and Custom Fees and Discounts:

  1. Go to Admin>>Divisions>>Edit Divisions
  2. Click on the pencil next to the division you want to edit
  3. Go to the Fees & Discounts section at the bottom
  4. Click Add/New edit button
  5. Type in a Discount or a Fee Name in the Discount Name field (this will appear on the orders/checkout screen)
  6. Type in a Discount Name (this will appear on the orders/checkout screen)
  7. Click whether this is a Discount of Fee- Remember, for discounts, the discount will be applied if the user answers YES question. For fees, the fee will be applied if the user answers NO to the question.
  8. Enter the amount for the discount/fee.
  9. Click Continue
  10. Click Update at the very bottom

Steps to edit Custom Fees and Discounts:

  1. Go to Admin>>Divisons>>Edit Divisions
  2. Click on the pencil next to the division you want to edit
  3. Go to the Fees & Discounts section
  4. Click on the discount that you wish to edit
  5. Make changes, or to delete check the delete box
  6. Click Continue to save your changes
  7. Click Update at the very bottom
