Some of you may know this already but it is worth sharing to all Premium Website admins. You can of course use any of the designated modules from the Blue Sombrero service when managing your site. However, you are not limited to using just our modules. In the Web 2.0 world, there are many 3rd party solutions available that you can use on your club website. For example, you can build a photo album or slideshow using Shutterfly or Photobucket and then have it posted on your club's web page.
With that said, most all the 3rd party solutions available offer a certain HTML code which links their service to your webpage (most have the option listed as "embed URL address").
The steps are very similar to posting a YouTube Video to your site.
1. Find the HTML code on the 3rd party solution's website and copy the code
2. Add a HTML (text) module to your webpage
3. Roll your cursor over the blue arrow next to the module title and click "Edit Content"
4. Click "Basic Text Box" located above the text editor
5. Click the "Raw" radio button option located below the editor
6. Click your cursor into the text box area and paste the code
6. Click Update and you are done!
*You can go back into the editor to resize by clicking the HTML icon (<>) located below the text area. There should usually be a width and height number which you can adjust if need be. Don't change any of the other code, and remember to consider the original proportions before you make any changes.
** A few 3rd party solutions we've seen admins use are: Weather.com, Google Calendar, US Youth Soccer widget, etc.
